In 2017, Empower Employ was launched — a company focused on building training programs dedicated exclusively to Transitioning Service Members, Veterans, Military Spouses, and the companies wanting to hire them. Unforeseen circumstances forced our doors to close for several years. But despite these setbacks, Empower Employ’s dedication to the Military community did not waver.
In 2021 Empower Employ was relaunched.
The lack of a clear pipeline between employers and military-community talent was still glaringly present, and we felt that it was time for us to step up to bridge that gap. During our relaunch, our focus expanded from simply training prospective employers on how to hire Veterans and Military Spouses. By educating on the value that talent brings to the organization and how to transform organizational culture to include and support, companies are poised to retain their Military hires.
To date, Empower Employ has over 17 corporate partners and we have successfully placed 80+ Spouses and Veterans in roles in 2022 alone.
We are extremely proud of Empower Employ, and its future. We have big hearts, big plans, and no sign of stopping now.
